Aleader Tire – New Product Development Process
Our development process is built around close collaboration with customers, from initial concept to mass production. Here's how we typically work:
A. Development Evaluation
We start by reviewing the customer's technical requirements-whether they come as drawings, physical samples, or general specifications. Our engineering team then creates preliminary designs, drafts technical drawings, and works out key product parameters. These are shared with the customer for review and formal approval before we move forward.
B. Development Input
Once the design is approved, we finalise the detailed documentation, including mould drawings, assembly drawings, finished product drawings, and all relevant standard specifications. This set of documents serves as the technical baseline for the entire project.
C. Proofing (Sample Moulding)
We send the approved mould drawings to our selected mould supplier and begin tooling. To start this phase, we require a 50% prepayment of the mould development cost from the customer. After the mould is manufactured, we conduct initial trial runs, verify the mould quality, produce first-off samples, and carry out necessary performance tests.
D. Sample Confirmation
The trial samples are then sent to the customer for evaluation and final sign‑off. We make any adjustments if required, until the sample meets the customer's expectations.
E. Small‑Batch Trial Production
After sample approval, we move to a small‑batch trial order. This step helps us verify production stability, confirm final product standards, and seal both parties' reference samples for future quality checks.
F. Mass Production
With all standards mutually agreed, we begin full‑scale production. At this stage, we also arrange a final mould acceptance inspection with the customer. Once the mould is accepted, the remaining 50% of the mould cost is settled.
About Our Factory & Capabilities
We are a specialised tyre manufacturer with a production range covering sizes from 3 inches to 26 inches. Our core offerings are foam‑filled tyres and PU foam tyres, which are widely used in mobility aids, wheelchairs, and light electric vehicles.
We hold ISO9001:2015, ROHS, and REACH certifications, and all our products comply with the ISO 7176 standard for wheelchair tyres. Many of our models also pass the stricter German GS requirements for children's products. Our quality system has been validated through long‑term cooperation with well‑known brands such as Kymco and Pride.
