Polyurethane Release Agent
PU (polyurethane) has excellent bonding properties with other materials. This property is disadvantageous in foam molding. In the production of molded polyurethane foam, cast polyurethane elastomer and the world's rapidly growing reaction injection molding (RIM) and other products. In order to remove the product from the mold quickly and smoothly, a mold release agent must be used. In the polyurethane molding process, release agents are used to obtain products with a smooth surface. The ideal release agent should have good thermal stability and chemical stability, not corrode the mold, and not leave decomposition products on the surface of the mold; paint ability, etc.; should require as little mold cleaning time as possible; should be non-toxic, safe, and easy to operate; should be low-cost.
