4. Solid Tires' Advantages
(1). It is light weight and flexible, allowing it to compress and conform to road obstacles just like air-inflated tires.
(2). It is both heat and cold resistant,and excellent in elasticity.
(3). Load Bearing Capability: A polyurethane tire can easily support twice the weight that a rubber tire can support.
(4). Wear and Abrasion Resistance: Poly tires will last around four times as long as rubber tires, as rubber tires tend to wear down from long distance road friction.
(5). Durability: In most applications, polyurethane tires last 30 percent longer than rubber ones. This is because they run 30 percent cooler, suffer less abrasion, and, unlike rubber, are not subject to hardening and cracking, or deterioration from ultraviolet light.
