what are solid tires?
Solid tires are the counterpart of pneumatic tires (air tires), whose carcasses are solid. They can also be made to fit on rims that are manufactured to support pneumatic tires.
Types of Solid Tires
Ususally, there are 3 types of solid tires in the rehabilitation field: solid rubber tires; pu solid tires, pu filled rubber tires.
Solid Rubber Tires
The most traditional solid tires are made of rubber. Solid rubber tires are wear-resistant but not very good shock absorption. Therefore, some solid rubber tires are designed with honeycomb holes to enhance the shock absorption performance of the tire.

PU Foam Solid Tires
PU foam solid tires are made of 100% polyurethane. Polyurethane Tire, made of micro cellular elastomer material, has good resilience. Its micro porous inner wall structure has the effect of shock and sound-absorption, making users feel comfortable while in use.

PU Filled Rubber Tires Or Insert Tyres
Poly Foam Filled Tire, simply called FF Tire, consists of two parts: rubber tire outside, microcellular polyurethane elastomer filled or inserted inside.
The construction is as per below picture:
