Developed for diverse civilian mobility aids and light transport machinery, this airless PU tyre abandons the conventional inflatable framework. Produced via mature one-step microcellular polyurethane shaping technique, it forms a seamless solid structure without inner tubes or air chambers. Such design successfully gets rid of typical troubles haunting pneumatic tyres, including air seepage, piercing damage and sudden deflation. Balanced flexibility, weight bearing capability and shock absorbing capacity enable steady and secure operation with minimal upkeep. Aleader kicked off its polyurethane manufacturing operation within Xiamen in 2015, then relocated all core production workshops to Longyan Innovation Park by 2023, creating a dual-site framework that pairs an R&D central hub with large-scale production grounds. The brand runs two separate specialist subsidiaries with distinct business focuses. Our Xiamen division is stationed at CAS Haixi Rare Earth Research Institute, acting as our central material testing lab and external technical exchange gateway. The Longyan UNT arm specializes in PU/PIR ventilation insulation boards plus all supporting installation parts, while our flagship Longyan plant solely manufactures microcellular PU wheels for rehab mobility gear, shaping a dual industrial layout spanning mobility fittings and construction thermal insulation supplies.
Academic Joint Innovation & Professional R&D Talent Support
We build long-term deep technical partnerships with two top-tier academic research institutions: Sichuan University College of Polymer Science and Engineering, and the Institute of Rare Earths under Chinese Academy of Sciences. A formal joint R&D laboratory was jointly established with the Xiamen Rare Earth Research Institute in 2023, dedicated to developing proprietary modified polyurethane formulas and realizing industrial transformation of laboratory polymer research outcomes. Professor Tang Jialing from Sichuan University's polymer faculty joins our technical iteration team to guide raw material formula optimization and product structural upgrading. Our in-house R&D team accumulates over 20 years of frontline polyurethane molding experience, focusing on developing low-density lightweight foam, wet anti-slip wheel formulations and puncture self-sealing tire materials to break through traditional PU product performance limitations.
Two independent functional laboratories are built within our industrial cluster: a joint material research lab located in Xiamen CAS research center, and a dedicated performance testing lab inside the Longyan production plant. The Xiamen joint lab is equipped with precision electron scanning microscopes to analyze internal cell structure of PU foam, observing uniform 50–100 micron micropore distribution of our proprietary tires. The Longyan testing lab deploys more than ten sets of professional testing machines, including Akron abrasion testers, rolling smoothness detectors, UV aging cabinets, salt spray corrosion equipment, universal tensile testing machines and side impact runout testers. Every finished batch undergoes full-cycle simulation tests before delivery to lock stable product performance.
